A historical exploration of Vlad Dracula the Impaler versus Bram Stoker’s Dracula mystique, accompanied by the flavors of Stoker Wines.

Join a captivating experience of history and legend as we uncover the truth behind one of the most misunderstood and enigmatic figures of the 15th century—Vlad III of Wallachia, known to history as Vlad the Impaler and to legend as the inspiration for Dracula. We do this through historical facts, pictures, maps, readings, and rare visuals, bringing the brutal world of the 15th-century Wallachia vividly to life. Guests will be entertained about the truth behind Vlad the Impaler’s life, will learn how Bram Stoker was inspired by this medieval ruler and other Transylvanian stories, to place part of the action from his famous novel Dracula, in Romanian lands. Also, the guests will captivate their senses with a selection of Wallachian wines from Stoker Winery, thoughtfully paired to evoke the Dracula spirit – complex red blends and a deep rose that speak of ancient cellars and moonlit nights.
