June 30, 1441: Vlad Dracul, Vlad the Impaler’s father, issued a chrysobull (official document).
June 5, 1456: Moldova’s act of submission to Sultan Mehmet II in Vaslui.
June 8, 1456: Halley’s Comet appeared in the sky, observed for a whole month, and was depicted on Vlad the Impaler’s silver coin.
June 13, 1458: Vlad the Impaler sent a letter to Braşov from “near Dâmboviţa” (a reference to Bucharest).
June 4, 1460: Vlad Ţepeş from Dâmboviţa entrusted his boyar Voicu Dobriţa to go to Braşov and expel or hand over any fugitives there.
June 26, 1460: Vlad the Impaler reassured the Braşovians that he was only dealing with the Făgăraş people.
June 5, 1461: Ştefan the Great of Moldova, cousin of Vlad the Impaler, entered Transylvania into Szeckler lands, attempting to capture Petru Aron, pretender to the throne.
June 2, 1462: King Casimir of Poland received the city of Caffa as a vassal.
June 1462 (first week): The battle in front of Nicopole and the Sultan’s entry into Wallachia took place.
June 14, 1462: The Venetian envoy in Buda reported that Vlad had gathered an army of children “from 12 years upwards” and peasants. It was also known that the Turkish crossing of the Danube was not complete, and there were rumors that the Sultan intended to march on Belgrade.
June 17, 1462: William Wey’s account registers a great Romanian victory.
June 17-18, 1462: Vlad the Impaler’s night attack on the Sultan’s camp occurred, likely on Thursday night to Friday.
June 20, 1462 (around): Vlad the Impaler left a force of about 6,000 men to follow the Sultan’s army and went to the other front where Chilia fortress was under siege.
June 22, 1462: Ştefan the Great of Moldova attacked the fortress of Chilia but was repelled and wounded in the left ankle by a cannonball.
June 23, 1462: News of a major defeat for the Sultan, “by water and land,” reached Bologna.
June 29, 1462: Sultan Mehmet II was in Brăila, where he met his fleet that had besieged Chilia.
June 1462 (campaign): Sultan Mehmet II’s expedition in Wallachia lasted almost thirty days.
June 25, 1475: Matiaş Corvin’s envoys were informed in Bistriţa about the decision to reinstall “Vajvode Draculia”.
June 6, 1508: Mihnea the Evil, (illegitimete) son of Vlad the Impaler, issued a chrysobull.
