Lucy’s mother tells Seward and Van Helsing that she moved all those smelly flowers out of Lucy’s room during the night; as soon as she leaves, they rush up to check on Lucy, who is worse than ever, and needs another transfusion; this time, it has to be Van Helsing; they give her a sleeping pill, and when she wakes up, she seems a lot better.
